digging a grave at 3 in the morning might not have been on mina’s mind at the moment, it might not be what she wanted to do at 3 in the morning either. unfortunately, it’s what she’d doing right now. or well, what eunhye is doing, quickly. but she’s exhausted and huffs, dropping the shovel atop the ground and climbing out of the five foot hole they’ve dug. she groans as she gathers herself and stands beside her. “you know, this is a mutual dig. i’m not doing this for my health.” she dusts off some dirt from her cheek and turns her body to the right and left, enjoying the soothing cracks of her spine.

“what’s wrong? you don’t seem all there.” she dusts her clothes some more, opting for the perfect grave digging outfit for the evening: yoga pants and a tank top. no, their evening hadn’t started out with finding the grave at the cemetery, it didn’t even start with the idea for this at all. eunhye was meeting her friend for yoga, as was promised. mina however had something else in mind and used the yoga as bait, which is what eunhye finds out as their night unravels.

but here they are, she was guaranteed a delicious breakfast after this. “we have a deal, you know.” her voice sing-songs, “i bring the magic, you bring me breakfast.”

There's a line from a movie that he's always felt suits them, even though he never outright shared it with Chaeyeon. When asked how she met her husband, the woman replies: "We never met. He's always been there, as far as I remember.". That's how he feels it is with Chaeyeon.

As far as he remembers, they've always been neighbours, their parents' houses right next to each other, the windows of their rooms facing and a tree growing in between, till it became sturdy enough for a daring ten-year-old Jingoo to cross it and land in her room, the motions soon turning into habit. Even when they were separated because in their parents' opinions they'd shared more than enough time together, he would cross the branches as silently as possible and be there with her once again, making their hours of playing together, or studying together as they grew up, almost endless.

Chaeyeon has always been there. He remembers how she hated the pink dresses her mother had her wear because she looked like a princess when they were five, until one day, with Jingoo's help, they simply cut one of them in shreds. The outcome was scarier than any horror movie, their parents jointly scolding them. He remembers the inflatable pools in their small gardens each summer and spending afternoons splashing each other and eating so much watermelon, their bellies almost turned as round as the fruit itself.

So, as he comes back from classes, throwing his bag on his bed, taking his shirt off because it's too damn hot and he's sick of the fabric sticking to his back, as natural as breathing, he looks out of his window, into Chaeyeon's.

She's trying on dresses, it seems, and it's not without a pang of jealousy that Jingoo wonders if she has a date. He slides the window pane up, letting the hot air inside and leans with both arms against the windowsill. A smile blooms soon on his thick lips, looking at her twirling in a red dress, looking so elegant she's almost breathtaking. She's always been so beautiful, so witty, completely out of his league. But that never stopped him from being by her side.

Somehow, though, he doesn't see what's coming and he's utterly unprepared when her hands pull down at the zipper on the back of her dress, expanse of milky white skin filling his vision and his heart stutters painfully. He doesn't know how, but she notices him then. "H-how long have you been standing there?" He hears her asking from outside the window and he straightens up, almost panicky, raising his hands to profess innocence. "I just got here. Why? Was there anything to see?"

welcome to how to hide a body 101! starring lee hyunjoo and na ungjae. an exciting situation, really. it hadn't meant to be like this. it was just, hyunjoo, these powers that she has, she's not entirely sure how to control them, and she had really liked this guy. ungjae knew that. ungjae knew that. e had been the one who encouraged her to just go forward and talk to him. except you know, when he kissed her, and kept kissing her, that things weren't going the way that she wanted them to go, and when she tried to push him away he had only meant to send a small shock through his body. not -- not actually electrocute him fully.

and that was why ungjae and hyunjoo were standing in their small apartment, a one bedroom where ungjae had the living room and hyunjoo had the bedroom. for this situation, the dogs were securely in the bedroom, because really the last thing they needed were the dogs running around making this scene even more of a mess. ungjae's cat was somewhere, probably in the kitchen, and hyunjoo had only now stopped crying.

"i really didn't mean to kill him."she speaks softly as she looks from the body of their neighbor from down the hall, back to ungjae. there were tear stains on her face and it was the truth. hyunjoo hadn't meant to kill him. she had instead wanted to just give him a little bit of a shock, to get him to stop. but instead, she learned just how much electricity a human being can have coursing through their body before they die. as it turns out, the answer is a solid 'not that much'.

"he didn't have powers…… what do we do? this is illegal. ungjae, we can't call the police, because you know that if he doesn't have powers and i've got them, and i mean i'm the one who--"she realizes that she's not making any sense. none at all. but it doesn't matter because the tears are starting all over again, and she isn't even sure how to explain to ungjae how she got in this situation. but now that ungjae is in the apartment, she accidentally dragged him into it too, and she's really, really unsure of what to do. but the last thing she wants to do is go to jail or something, because if there's one thing about lee hyunjoo, it's that she is absolutely not made out for jail.

Namjoon hadn't needed to invite Yongguk over just to give him the hat he'd left behind in the cafe the day before, but that was precisely what he'd done. He'd met Yongguk at the front door of the fraternity house, offered the hat back but had then invited him inside. The tour he'd given was brief, especially given that he was the only one in the house for the summer.

"And this is my room," he had said as he pushed open a grandiose double door that led to the suite that was afforded the president of the prestigious organization, complete with a kitchenette and wet bar, dining area, and full-sized living room. There was even a half bath in case he decided to have a private party or something, he supposed.
